Your linework on Lady is a bit heavy but it does have lineweight.... however the bg shading is horrible :( You should look at how its inked in comics so that you can produce the proper gradient in a crosshatched shadow with a ruler and a nib.

Actually I'm a professional inker. And its not fine -- that is not an appropriate technique to use on a crosshatched background. It's sloppy. But I honestly don't expect everyone to understand what a proper inking job should look like so I'll excuse your ignorance.

Being someone who has read comics all my life... being a READER, the person who chooses to buy comics or not... I think the inking was SUPERBLY done, no matter who you are or how highly you sit upon that horse of yours, your opinion is not fact.
